    BeeThere Flyers

BeeThere Flyers are a simple piece of HTML (no programming necessary) that will add a live concert list to your website. It uses client-side JavaScript to present a fresh list of concerts with every page view. You can use virtually any category (IE, Boston, or Middle East) or set of category filters (Boston, Indie Rock, Featured Celebrity) to control the type of events that appear. BeeThere Flyers come with default CSS (cascading style sheets) that can be customized to control the look.

You can use the application below to generate sample BeeThere

  • Click on the desired category name on the left to generate a sample page.
  • Copy the HTML in the textarea at the top.
  • Paste the HTML into your web page.
  • Feel free to modify any of the HTML. The most common modifications are to the city, the title, and to specify your own CSS file.

Also, you can limit the events to particular artists, and if you want, by related artists also. Here's the steps:

  • Create an account using the sign-in/sign-up link in the upper left of the BeeThere homepage.
  • Upload the list of artists from you iTunes collection, using the "Load/Update Artist List" link on the left-side navigation menu.
  • Use the "Get Flyer Link" to get the HTML for flyers with events relating to the artists in your collection. The application is essentially the same as the mini-application below.

Note: The city used by this application is the city most recently viewed in the BeeThere application. You can change the city used by going back to the home page of BeeThere, and changing the city. You can also change the city in the URL. Some cities use abbreviated names.

The anatomy of a BeeThere Flyer URL is:
    http://beethere.net/<CityName>/flyer.js?c=<FilterType>:<FilterValue>&bt=<Title>
    Example:
    http://beethere.net/nyc/flyer.js?c=Genres:Classical&bt=Classical NYC

Both the 'c' and the 'bt' parameters are optional. Multiple 'c' parameters can be used to further refine the list of displayed concerts.

    BeeThere Posting System

BeeThere has been taking feedback from users, and building a easy to use application to make it easier for venues, promoters, and individual artists to post events on BeeThere. We are very excited to share it with you.

BeeThere XML Sharing (will be public soon)

BeeThere currently takes event information via XML feeds posted on websites. The structure of the XML is still undergoing design iterations as we work with more event posters. To become a beta tester, please Contact Us. We would love to hear from you, and have you on board.

    BeeThere Custom Development

We understand that many of the best venues, promoters, and artists, do not want to, or do not have the technical or time resources to post their events using yet another application. BeeThere would be happy to work with you to make it easy for you to make your events available. Please Contact Us for more information. We would love to hear from you, and have you on board.
